It’s only natural to think of Team Ukraine, the last country to qualify for the Global Poker Masters, as the underdogs heading into March, however, with the likes of poker superstar Eugene Katchalov (GPI#48) and EPT Champion Oleksii Khoroshenin (GPI#253) invited to this year’s competition, other teams better not take Team Ukraine lightly, as they may very well shock the world when all is said and done.
Katchalov’s 10-year career includes 6 victories and over $8.4M in career winnings … Meanwhile, Khoroshenin is the latest success story coming out of the Ukraine following his Main Event victory at EPT Vienna last spring.
