Mustapha Kanit (GPI#40) is in total control of Italy’s Player of the Year race with just a few months left to the 2014 poker season. With close to a 1,000 point lead on Andrea Dato (GPI#73), Kanit can start to breathe a little easier, although he’s still not out of the woods just yet.
Should Kanit be able to earn a significant score in the coming weeks, that could all but wrap up the race for Player of the Year in Italy and earn him automatic entry to the Global Poker Masters.
