The first two members of Team UK have confirmed their participation in the Global Poker Masters as Simon Deadman (GPI#35) and 2014 UK National Player of the Year Oliver Price (GPI#39) have booked their flights to Malta this March.
Each player enjoyed tremendous success in 2014. After several significant runner-up finishes throughout the season, Deadman was finally able to break the bridesmaid bubble in Las Vegas, winning the Hollywood Poker Open at the M Resort … just a few miles away from the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino, where most of the poker world was in attendance for the World Series of Poker. He recently finished 4th in the High Roller event at EPT Prague.

Price enjoyed a breakout year on the circuit, scoring points in 14 different events this season, including a 3rd place finish at EPT Deauville, a 5th place finish in the $5,000 buy-in NLH event at the World Series of Poker and a GUKPT victory.
With Jack Salter and Stephen Chidwick also expected to accept their invitations to the Global Poker Masters, Team UK is certainly starting to look like a contender!
