The EPT Deauville Festival concluded in France over the weekend as a member of #TeamRussia, Vladimir Troyanovksiy, added some hardware, less than two months before the start of the Global Poker Masters, which will be held this March in Malta.
Vladimir Troyanovskiy (GPI#57) won the France Poker Series High Roller event after a marathon session forced the players to work overtime in order to find a winner. Troyanovksiy, who is currently ranked #2 on the GPI Russian National charts, picked up €141,000 for first place.
Working on almost no sleep thanks to the added session in the FPS High Roller, Troyanovskiy was still determined not to let him affect him in the EPT Deauville Main Event. Although he didn’t win the Main, he still enjoyed a deep run, earning a Top 100 finish.
Amazingly, the Russian also cashed in the EPT High Roller event, earning a 15th place finish.
